EERE’s Small Business Voucher (SBV) pilot continues gaining steam and garnering keen interest from across DOE, the National Laboratory enterprise, and the clean tech small business community. SBV’s upcoming $20 million investment in small business assistance and collaborative research has the potential to change the way that DOE’s national labs engage with clean tech businesses and entrepreneurs.  In March, EERE’s Lab Impact team released the SBV Lab Call to invite DOE’s national labs to participate in the pilot.  By the end of May, EERE will select 3 to 5 national labs to participate in the pilot and by July, small businesses from across the country will begin working with DOE labs on cutting-edge research and commercialization challenges to bring the next generation of EERE technologies to market.
