One Week in Portland, Two Marine Energy Conferences

Ocean Renewable Energy Conference 2022
Leadership. Experience. Solutions.
Welcome back to the Ocean Renewable Energy Conference. POET hosted OREC 2022 in Portland, Oregon, September 14-15, 2022. Consistent with previous years' conferences, OREC 2022 focused on a broad range of subjects describing the marine energy sector with opportunities to stay up to date on key developments in our sector such as testing infrastructure and Blue Economy opportunities.
UMERC + Marine Energy Technology Symposium 2022
The University Marine Energy Research Community (UMERC) and the Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS) jointly hosted UMERC+METS, a marine energy research conference in Portland, Oregon, on September 13-14, 2022. The conference was held in conjunction with the Ocean Renewable Energy Conference (OREC), which also provided an opportunity to meet with marine energy developers and stakeholders, as part of Ocean Energy Week 2022.
