Welcome back to the Ocean Renewable Energy Conference. This year, we invite you to OREC at a new time of year and a new venue, but with the same great agenda and activities you've come to expect. Consistent with previous years' conferences, OREC 2023 will focus on a broad range of subjects describing the marine energy sector with opportunities to stay up to date on key developments such as testing infrastructure and Blue Economy opportunities.

World Forestry Center – Portland, Oregon

Interior of Miller Hall. Nestled in the trees of Portland's West Hills, the World Forestry Center adjoins 5200-acre Forest Park, with hiking trails, gardens, and other natural attractions.


Weather permitting, we will make good use of the venue's outdoor space. Plus, during free time you can walk to the Forestry Museum next door or the Oregon Zoo just across the street.
Accommodations
Get the best of both worlds Portland has to offer: book a hotel downtown near the red/blue Max line, then ride the train up into the wooded hills around the World Forestry Center.
